Seated Massage
untitled.bmpIn this course the participant will learn how to do a short, seated massage. This is is a convenient method of massage therapy. This form of massage reduces tension in the back, neck and shoulders; thus providing deep relaxation. A swift chair massage revitalizes your anatomy and encourages overall well-being.

A short, seated massage session can be likened to a full, deep breath, in which the receiver of touch is allowed to exhale spent energy from the body, and is rejuvenated by the expansiveness of fresh inspiration. Practiced without lotion or oil on a client who is fully clothed, seated massage provides a break in the day’s routine that can help reset the perception of one’s life with all its myriad physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

Shereen Davids is the course trainer; Shreen initially trained as a nursing sister and midwife, aromathapist, massage therapist and Bowen practitioner and has been actively involved in complementary health and its associated education for a number of years.
