The structural organisation will be explored at chemical, cellular, tissue, organ and system levels. The ensuing detailed examination of all the major systems of the body will demonstrate how the homeostatic mechanisms of each system provide and maintain the health of the body as a whole. Shereen Davids is the course trainer; Shreen initially trained as a nursing sister and midwife and has been actively involved in complementary health and its associated education for a number of years. She has formulated and taught courses in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology since 1994. She is the co-author of a Pathology reference book ("A Blend of Pathology and Complementary Therapies") which is currently utilised by our students. Shereen is also a trained Aromatherapist and Massage Therapist with her main practice being Bowen Technique Therapy. Course aims: · You will gain a knowledge of the body systems. · You will gain a knowledge and understanding of how the body functions. · A theory assessment will take place at the end of the module. · A certificate of attendance will be given.
